I also met this guy, who was quite sleepy. His fur was very soft, though.

I never thought any fur could be softer than my chenille microfiber wash mitt. I was truly and deeply wrong. Also, here’s an albino kangaroo. Not as soft as a Red Kangaroo, but still really cool.

never seen an albino ‘roo here in Oz , but then you don’t tend to notice what colour they are when mowing them down.
:)

They’re not awesome when they’re on the road (that is, always).
Where at? I saw some albinos down South Australia way.

Lake Country, BC, Canada. I wouldn’t have guessed that either.
![]() 04/06/2016 at 12:29 |

Yeah, they’re the Australian equivalent of deer, mainly because of how they behave.

I didn’t even know there were Kangaroos outside of Australia :O

I have a friend with a pet kangaroo. It just hops around the property, tend to shows up at night. I swear kangaroos only exist at night.
Apparently his dad will rough it up a bit and punch it and stuff. Nuts.

Well, it is a rescue farm. Basically, when New Zealand declared all non-native species invasive, their roos either had to be sent away, or slaughtered. Wanting to save some of the species, this small rescue farm in Lake Country decided to jump through the necessary hoops to save some of the kangaroos and wallabies.

Wow! That’s awesome. Good on them.
In Australia they’re a pest, they don’t really need saving lol. Sometimes we cull them.
